If you're craving real Indian flavors, this place should be on your radar! From the moment my wife and I stepped in, we were impressed by the friendly and professional staff. The restaurant offers an impressive selection of over 30 dishes, each bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. My wife loved the Mango Malai, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet. She also raved about the Hyderabadi Mutton Dum Biryani—the saffron and spice combination was incredibly aromatic, and each bite was a taste of perfection. The flavors were spot-on, reflecting the authenticity that you rarely find outside of India. As for me, I’m a huge seafood fan, and Deccan Bawarchi did not disappoint. The Fish Pakoras were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, while the Shrimps were cooked to perfection—flavorful, juicy, and absolutely mouthwatering. The highlight is definitely their Hyderabadi cuisine — the spices, aroma, and richness are absolutely authentic. The Hyderabadi biryani stood out with its perfect balance of flavor and tenderness, just like you’d get in Hyderabad. Their buffet spread is excellent, with a great variety of dishes for both veg and non-veg options. Every item tasted fresh and well-prepared — from creamy curries to perfectly grilled tandoori items. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home — and that spirit clearly starts from the top, with the owner, Fareed. Fareed is not only passionate about food, but also about making sure every guest has a memorable experience. He personally came over to check on us during the meal, shared stories behind some of the dishes, and made sure everything was perfect — and it truly was. It's rare to see that level of personal care these days, and it made all the difference. As for the food: absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor — from the perfectly spiced biryani to the flavorful curries and freshly prepared appetizers, you can tell that each recipe has been crafted with love and expertise. The naan was fresh and fluffy, and the chutneys added the perfect kick to every bite. The atmosphere is cozy, inviting, and full of character — just like Fareed himself. Our experience was amazing!! The food is fantastic They have great vegetarian, chicken, and goat options. The lamb curry was . The service was lovely as well. Felt very welcomed, serviced, and at home. Food wasn’t too spicy either. 5 stars

Hands down the best Indian and Hyderabadi food in Michigan. Have been to many Indian places but they are all toned down. Just the perfect level of spices, and the variety in the dinner buffet was just amazing. Worth the $25 per person on the weekend dinner buffet. Would definitely recommend if you guys are looking for authentic Indian food.

Absolutely amazing experience at Deccan Bawarchi Indian Cuisine – Farmington Hills! Their weekend buffet is one of the best in Metro Detroit. The star items were outstanding: Mutton Marag – rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked Chicken & Goat Dum Biryani – authentic Hyderabadi taste with generous meat portions Mutton Mughlai – creamy, royal, and full of flavor Mutton Haleem – smooth, perfectly spiced, and truly delicious Everything tasted fresh, the variety was great, and the ambiance was clean and welcoming. The staff was polite and attentive as well. Highly recommend this place! Will definitely be coming back for more!

Great food and excellent staff! Finally, a place that serves proper desi food done right. The best part is their exhaust system . you can enjoy your meal without walking out smelling like food. The salad with onion, green chili, and pani puri was on point, and the tamarind, mint, and raita sauces were absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!
